Synthetic motor oil and regular motor oil both start off life as crude oil.  However, synthetic motor oil has been refined and broken down to remove impurities.  This improves its stability and also improves its lubrication qualities at higher and lower temperatures.  Synthetic motor oil is a more costly choice.  There are a few scenarios in which we recommend using synthetic motor oil, such as performance vehicles with a turbo and in some high mileage vehicles.  Despite this, regular motor oil should not be looked down on.  It does a wonderful job at protecting your vehicle’s engine and keeps it running smoothly. Either way doing an oil change is better then non at all!

No! You do not have to take your car to the dealer to maintain your warranty!

You DO NOT have to take you car back to the dealer in order to keep your warranty valid. It is in fact illegal for the dealer to tell you that. The owner’s manual spells out the maintenance required to maintain your warranty. As long as you follow the schedule in the owner’s manual for oil change intervals and other required service, the manufacturer cannot deny a warranty claim based on the work being done elsewhere. That is the law.

Many dealers have their own maintenance schedules that include services that are not required by the manufacturer. These services may include such things as fuel additives, engine oil additives, power steering fluid additives, and transmission fluid additives. Look at the owner’s manual and compare the dealer’s maintenance schedule to the one in your owner’s manual. If items appear in the dealer’s schedule that are not in the owner’s manual, that service is not required to maintain your warranty.

We offer a 30 day labour warranty with all work performed by us and inspected by us with your recipe and manufacturer warranty on any parts which varies depending on brand and quality.

No unfortunately there is no warranty on any ECU Tunes. All ECU Tunes are for off-road use and may also void any manufacturer warranties.

We recommend a rotation approximately every 20,000kms. When the tires start to scallop, that means a rotation is over-due.

Yes, we have the most advanced alignment machine in the industry; the Hunter Hawk Eye Elite. We are capable of doing complete, 3D Four Wheel Alignments. We can also do a 90 second alignment check to diagnose whether or not an alignment is needed. We recommend a re-alignment when any front-end work is done, especially if you are noticing irregular tire wear, or if you recently purchased new tires and would like to prolong the life. The most obvious time for an alignment is when your steering wheel is not straight and the car is pulling to one side.
